FINANCIAL SPECIALIST IV TREASURERS OFFICE: The Financial Specialist 4 has primary areas of responsibility for, but is not limited to, all banking processes, investment processes, debt management and the County and external agencies’ cash positions.
This position utilizes current department, County, state and federal practices, in order to provide quality financial services relative to cash, banking, investments, debt management, in order to support the overall operation of Whitman County government for the benefit of its citizens

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, public administration, business administration, or a related field.
Two or more years of accounting experience OR Any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.
STARTING WAGE: $26.
35/hr
FULL WAGE RANGE: $26.
35- $31.
48/hr
