com attn: Cathy We are looking for an outgoing and highly motivated retail sales associate to work with us in a full time position in a fast paced, medical/optical environment.
The successful candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, as well as a keen interest in the optical industry.
Key responsibilities: * Eyewear sales & dispensing * Engage with patients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times * Assist patients in selecting the right frames, lenses and other optical products to meet their specific needs by providing detailed product information * Frame adjustments and repairs * Process and submit orders through Vision Web, Eyefinity and Eyemed as well as CLX * Verify patient medical insurance coverage and vision benefits and be able accurately use this information to check out patient sand collect appropriate fees * Assist in inventory management.
Establish and manage relationship with frame vendors.
This position requires reliability, confidence, motivation, and the willingness to grow and learn.
This team member must be able to multi-task, think critically, be computer savvy, work well with others and cross train with other areas of the office as needed * Previous customer service experience is REQUIRED.
* Previous optical sales experience is preferred.
* Optician licensing and/or Paraoptometric Certification is preferred.
Pay from $20/hr - $32/hr DOE Retention Bonus after 1 year of employment *Benefits include: *_Note that benefits are subject to 3 month waiting period and full-time status.
