My roommate is moving out, so I’m looking for a new roommate.
It will be available June 1st, but you could start moving some things into the garage mid-May.
I will have the house professionally cleaned before you move in.
The Space
This is a 3 bedroom, 2.
5 bath, duplex located near Sunnyside Park.
The room for rent is the master bed/bath with walk-in closet.
I work from home so I use the small bedroom as an office and the medium bedroom for my bedroom.
The house is a modern construction (within the past 15-20 years I think) and was designed as a duplex.
There is good sound insulation between the two units and I rarely/barely hear the neighbors.
I have the common areas pretty well furnished, but I’m only really attached to the couch, so you’d definitely be welcome to move in whatever furniture you have.
The cats in the photos are leaving with the roommate.
* Central heating and air conditioning—keeps air clean during wildfire season
* Gas fireplace—radiant heat keeps humidity stable
* Across the street from bus stop - Paradise/Lentil route
* Washer and Dryer in unit
* Large, well-equipped kitchen, quiet new dishwasher
* Huge 2 car garage, lots of storage
* Small, private deck area that catches morning sun
* Plum trees!
* Fiber internet
* Landlord provides snow removal
* Two small outdoor areas with opportunities for gardening.
Landlord takes care of lawn and landscaping
* Cats are welcome, but will need approval from the landlord.
No additional pet rent.
$100 pet fee and $900 refundable pet deposit
* Your share of utilities would likely average $120/month
The Landlord
I rent from a private landlord.
Her family does construction in the area and they have always been quick to resolve any issues.
It’s by far the best landlord situation I’ve had in Pullman.
About Me
I’m mid-30s (he/him) and work at WSU.
I have lived in Pullman for 15 years and in this house for the past 5.
I’m a bit of a homebody, but I’m often out watching movies at the Kenworthy in Moscow.
When the weather’s nice I enjoy riding my bike, pickleball and disc golf.
I also love board games and enjoy cooking.
I got really into making cocktails a few years ago and still have an extensive collection of liquor, but I don’t really drink much or often anymore.
If you’re interested
Let me know a bit about yourself and if you have any questions about me or the house or the area.
My work schedule is pretty flexible so if you suggest a few times you’re free, you can come by and check out the house and see if we’re a good fit to be housemates.
