Staff RNs must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be eligible to take the Idaho State Nursing Board examination or to receive licensure by reciprocity.

Responsibilities:
-Accountable for direct and indirect age appropriate patient assessment, care planning, patient care, and monitoring of patient outcomes.
-Collaborates with all patient care providers and the patient/family in the development of the patient care plan.
-Reports patient status to the patient’s physician and/or LIP.
-Obtains orders for care.
-Provides age appropriate teaching to patients/families with accommodations for their individual learning needs.
-Responsible for mentoring of students, novice nurses and peers.
-Demonstrate safe and competent nursing care that is consistent with Gritman’s Mission, Vision, and Values
Requirements:
-Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
-Must have valid Idaho nursing license or compact state nursing license
-BLS and ACLS required.
NRP, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC required within one year of employment
-ABLS, ATCN, CEN/CPEN encouraged
