Likely installed in the 1930's-1940's during a remodel of a 1906 era house, I've been toting this fixture around for 20+ years, waiting for the opportunity to use it.
Well, I'm done waiting.
It's your turn to find the right use for it! This one has the electrical outlet for the razor or other beautification tool of the time.
The rotary switch on the bottom of the light socket turns with a good healthy click.
The exterior porcelain shows no chips, but could stand a more thorough cleaning in the crevices.
