For your Craigslist consideration today here's a pair (2) of Optimus satellite speakers for $40 cash FOB Pomeroy WA.
Model 40-4055 Left and Right 3-way Wedge shaped; natural candidates for rear surround speakers.
Drivers on two faces (bi-directional); uses direct and reflecting sound.
Woofers and tweeters are in good shape, as are metal protective screens, and their cabinets.
Heavy for their size.
I suspect they may be shielded, but have not confirmed.
Might make fine desktop speakers, too, if you've got a decent little class D amplifier to make them sing.
Also have a center channel (Optimus) that I'd toss in for $10 if that's of interest to you.
I do wander over to the L/C area from time to time and could bring them along if that helps.
