Summary of Duties:
The Library & Archives Paraprofessional 1 takes primary responsibility for closing the Holland and Terrell Libraries on Fridays and Saturdays; assists patrons at the two Circulation desks; maintains assigned Interlibrary Loan (ILL) borrowing queue and other assigned ILL tasks.
This position works Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00am to 8:00pm.
Summer and other academic break hours may vary.
Job duties to include but not limited to the following:
Patron Assistance
Closing the Holland and Terrell Libraries on Fridays and Saturdays
Interlibrary Loan/Summit/Training
Stack Maintenance/Mail Service
Monitoring Public Printer/Copiers
Monitor and Maintain Unit Supplies
Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent and one year of clerical or customer service experience.
Equivalent education or experience will substitute.
Ability to work Tuesday-Saturdays from 11:00AM to 8:00 PM.
Schedule may vary depending on assignments.
Ability to cover occasional night/weekend shifts as necessary.
Ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working familiarity with the libraries' ILS (Alma).
Experience with Summit, ILLiad, RAPID, and Document Delivery.
Knowledge of and experience with Workday and MyWSU.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Monthly Salary: Range 31 | $2,875 to $3,619 (Steps C-M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
