Job duties include sharing your field of specialization with students in a fun and engaging manner (i.
e.
ballet, contemporary, pilates, yoga, etc.
), student-centered pedagogy, creating a welcoming environment for dancers, being available for parent.
questions, and the management of your classroom community and environment.
REQUIRED Qualifications:
* Clear and present love and passion for dance education and performance
* Experience and/or interest in working with children, youth, and adults
* Interest in community engagement
* Commitment to inclusion in class-planning, lesson delivery, and onstage
* Specialization in classical ballet, contemporary ballet, contemporary jazz, pilates, yoga, and/or acro will be prioritized
* Teaching availability 3:30pm-8pm 1-2 weekdays Monday - Saturday
PREFERRED Qualifications:
* Dance teaching experience and/or equivalent professional/pre-professional performance experience
* Experience with dance studio software
* Experience editing music
* Choreographic experience
