Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children
- Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare setting
- Manage and support children with special needs, including those with autism or behavioral challenges
- Foster positive social interactions and promote good behavior through effective behavior management techniques
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is STRONGLY preferred
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to obtain a city childcare worker license, including passing a background check and obtaining up to date CPR/First Aid certificate during FIRST MONTH of employment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children, as well as to maintain an organized and sanitized classroom
- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities.

Pay: $16.
