Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional and dynamic student to join our new, state-of-the-art PCB Manufacturing Facility in Moscow, Idaho.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer.
As a Process Engineering Intern, a typical day might include the following:
Providing support to process engineering staff as needed (Functional/qualification test plans, testing, and test reports; Tolerance, return on investment (ROI), thermal, and structural analysis; Design of plastic, machined, sheet metal, and die cast parts).
Updating SolidWorks models and drawings.
Data entry of technical information into company databases (MS Access, SolidWorks).
Following mechanical development and quality assurance procedures.
This job might be for you if:
You are currently in pursuit of BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with one to two years engineering education completed.
You are able to conduct defined testing procedures with guidance.
You have strong problem-solving skills.
You have working knowledge of MS Office Applications or equivalent.
You have one year SolidWorks experience (or equivalent CAD software).
You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
You are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
You are able to work cooperatively in a team environment.
You have background check results satisfactory to SEL.
You have negative drug test result(s).

This position is located in SEL’s state of the art Printed Circuit Board factory in Moscow, ID.

Pay Range Data
($17.
00 - $26.
50 per hour)* Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate).
