1940's Cowl Mounted Cannister Air Cleaner - $60 (Pomeroy)

For your Craigslist consideration today here's a 1940's cowl mounted cannister air cleaner for $60 cash FOB Pomeroy WA.
Looks like a scale version of today's Donaldson air cleaners on the big rigs.
Donor vehicle was a 1946 Diamond T log truck.
Original equipment cleaning the intake air for a 404 cubic inch gasoline powered Hercules flathead.
Body is ~17" tall and ~8" outside diameter, excluding bracket and drip edge of cannister.
It's been parked since roughly 1967, and I've never opened the cleaner housing, so it's a mystery what's inside.
Might be a good accoutrement for your ATHS restoration, or perhaps your rat rod that's not anemic on style.
I do wander over to the L/C area from time to time and could bring it along if that helps.
